I've been writing entertaining and informative thrillers about the world of business since 2010. I call it “ecotainment” - a form of economic infotainment: Based on real events in the fascinating world of Business, Economics and Finance, I make up my fictional stories:

My first book "Bad Banker" (2010) is about the financial crisis of 2007-2008 and the toxic derivatives, which let many investors lose all their savings. It became a Swiss bestseller right away. In this novel, I mingle in my experience from my years in the City of London.

The idea for my second thriller "The Piraeus Oath" (2011) came to me during long four hours and a bit of my marathon run on the original course from Marathon to Athens. It deals with the ups and downs of the Euro crisis of 2010 onwards.

And "The hour of the Eagle" (2012), I explore the thrilling question of what a return to the deutschmark would mean for Germany and Europe. It anticipates the arise of the ultra-right-wing German party, the “Alternative for Germany”. In my book the party is called the “Deutsche Mark Party”.

All in all, I always find my fictional stories on the streets of real life and never forget to touch the hearts of my readers as well. Because business is anything but heartless! Unfortunately, all these three thrillers are only available in German so far. English publishers are welcome to contact me!

The “The Dark Banker" is about Bitcoin & Co and is my first thriller, which is now also available in English. Bit- and Altcoins may not be the devil's stuff, but he who plays with the devil should know his Mephisto. The Dark Banker is a smart humanoid robot who deals with smart digital money.
